Happy New Year!

The holiday season in general is my favorite time of year. From Thanksgiving through New Years, the world around me changes. People seem to smile more, music is more prevalent, and Starbucks cups turn red.

One thing I love about New Years in particular is the whole freshness of it all. Each New Years, I like to take time to reflect on the things that made the past year the most special and figure out how to build on, add to, and even exceed those things in the fresh new year ahead.

At the end of 2013, I was about 8 months into this new business of mine and had just completed my training, so couldn’t wait to see how 2014 would turn out. I was hopeful, but also nervous. 2014 was spectacular. 2015 is when I left my “day job” to go full-time into this amazing industry. And it just gets better with each passing year!

2017 was full of travel and exploration. Stacy spent a good chunk of the year in Southeast Asia, and I spent almost 2 full months in Europe – France, Italy, Spain, and Monaco. 2018 is already full of travel plans…but I’m getting ahead of myself.

Not to say that everything goes perfectly all the time – there were definitely some mistakes and even failures, but also a lot of successes and things to celebrate. Some of those that are top of mind:

  • The team here at Edge of Wonder Travels who I┬álove more every day;
  • The business associates, tour operators, and contacts around the globe, with whom we are privileged to partner;
  • Most of all – the incredible clients who we have had the pleasure of working with and honored us with their trust!

2018 is now. Started today and will run for another 365 days. I look at what’s ahead and am so excited I can hardly sit still…and who could when a breathtaking world of fresh adventures await?

Here’s hoping your year will be epic!

We’re ready whenever you are!
