I love it when my favorite partners unveil a new itinerary or product and this week, we got a fun surprise from Viking Ocean… They announced a brand new product: VIKING EXPEDITION CRUISES!
Starting with previous guests (or, Viking Explorer Society members, as they’re known) and giving them a special offer period for pre-booking these expedition cruises which will have itineraries centered on exploring the Arctic and Antarctica starting in 2022.
Previous guests will be able to take advantage of this exclusive reservation period from now only until December 31, 2019. Beginning in January 2020, booking will be available to the general public so this is like super-early access and definitely something to take advantage of!
Anyone who knows me knows that have a special soft-spot for Arctic and Antarctic adventures (polar bears, icebergs, and penguins – oh my!) but the challenge is always the amount of time required to book these trips. Expedition ships tend to fill up a year or more in advance, so having this kind of extended preview booking period is a HUGE bonus!
But wait, there’s more! 🙂
Pre-book during this previous guest period, through us and receive an additional $200 shipboard credit on your sailing. If you happen to have already booked, don’t worry – just contact us and we can have your booking transferred and get our special onboard credit applied just the same.
Arctic Adventure
Explore the Top of the World
Sail from Tromsø to the western coast of Svalbard and experience the stark beauty of the Arctic, where polar bears reign and blue ice floats serenely on the horizon. Here it is silent and still one moment, a cacophony of migrating birds, barking seals and calving glaciers the next. From this northern archipelago of frozen tundra, dramatic fjords and remote human settlements, you will witness this world awakening from winter slumber to a land of midnight sun.
Discover Antarctica
Discover the Last Continent
This ultimate adventure takes you to the Antarctic peninsula, where you will witness towering glaciers, snow-covered landscapes, massive icebergs and once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounters. In the footsteps of explorers such as Amundsen, Shackleton and Scott, you will be one of the few to discover the world’s last truly wild frontier. Each day brings new surprises and the opportunity to change plans to maximize wildlife sightings and adapt to ever-changing weather.
