Who we are

The Team

We stay with you from the first conversation until you're safely home.

Why we stay small

Small on purpose

We're a boutique team and we plan to stay one. Deep relationships don't scale. The private guide who holds a prime date open for you, the lodge owner who picks up at ten at night, the pilot who reroutes when the weather turns — those people work with individuals they know, not with account managers at a company running ten thousand trips a year.

A bigger company would offer more destinations and worse access. We'd rather have the direct phone numbers.

On the ground

The people who actually run your trip

Every experience we design is delivered by people who live where you're going. Master guides, bush pilots, lodge owners, backcountry outfitters, private drivers, and expedition cooks. Some we've worked with for decades; others came through trusted handoffs within our inner circle.

We'll tell you exactly who they are before you leave. They're the ones you'll remember long after you're home.

Designers & Specialists

Deb Miller

Deborah Miller, CTA

Founder & Experience Designer

Deb is a lifelong seeker of the world's wonders. Having lived in London, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Alaska, she now lives in Northern California's southern Cascades. Alaska is still where her heart is happiest.

She believes the difference between a good trip and an extraordinary one is never just the hotel—it's whether someone on the ground already knows you're coming and is excited to welcome you.

Frank Castro

Frank Castro

Expedition Partner & Adventure Specialist

Malibu, by way of film sets, restaurant kitchens, safari lodge management, and mountain outfitting. Frank has run lodges, guided high peaks, and spent most of his working life in the backcountry.

Frank builds and runs the adventure side of what we offer: Kilimanjaro, the Salkantay route to Machu Picchu, the Galápagos, and more. Real operations, staffed by local crews who live where they work.

Stacy Smith

Stacy Smith

Experience Designer

Stacy fell in love with travel on a trip to Europe as a teenager and never quite came back from it. She spent years planning trips for herself, her friends, and her family before doing it full-time.

She cares deeply about eco-conscious luxury and conservation, curating immersive journeys across Europe, the Mediterranean, and beyond that hold up to both.

Malia Ford

Malia Ford

Experience Designer

Malia grew up in a family where travel was the default setting. She lived in the UK, traveled widely across Europe, and spent long stretches exploring Asia.

Her background spans yoga, wellness retreats, and seven years in the wine industry, crafting restorative journeys rich in world-class cuisine, wine country escapes, and slow exploration.
